Seeing as I stay in Scotland am I allowed to agree with the OP and say yeah, I'm not really looking forward to it getting dark earlier in the evening either!
For some reason I knew what the OP was meaning, maybe it's a male thing! |

Although i much prefer the long light evenings of summer, i have two points that make the early arrival of the dark acceptable :-
A) I feel safer/more secure going out 'dressed'
B) I get to use the stupidly bright & expensive off-road lights on my mountain bikes |
