I liked Coconut Boosts, Extra-strength Marmite and Mint-Choc Angel Delight.
All appear to have been discontinued in our local shops since you 'normal' people don't buy them.
What things were your favourite, but got discontinued regardless?

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound |
Maple Water. It was delicious but my local Waitrose told me that I was only person buying it and they couldn't keep in stock just for me. They didn't go as far as calling me a weirdo though. Well, not to my face.

"Mint-Choc Angel Delight sounds sexy as."
It was.
I'm currently eyeing up the peppermint essence we had to buy for our son's first ever cookery class 10 years ago and wondering if I dare...
(I think he used three drops of it!) |

It may just have a tang of 9 years stale about it. |

Since it made it through the grand clear-out of the new larder move, it seems a bit petty not to use it. Though I always prefer to cook things for a long time when they're 9 years past the sell-by date, just to make sure.

"Tinned oysters
You can get tinned, smoked John West ones in Waitrose. I only know this because I had to get some for someone with weird tastes.
" .
Waitrose here I come..
Do they sell champagne as well, and dare I take them on the anti austerity protests |

At £1.99 a can you might not want to throw too many at an anti-austerity march.

I can't think of anything (must have blocked out the painful memories) but all of the above sound like things I'd like to try |

I'm sure my consumption of these culinary delights alone would have made these viable for continued manufacture! |

Cadburys website says these were discontinued in 1994! I was going to look to see if there were any still kicking about on the internet that I could buy, but now I think I'll give it a miss! |

1985 to 1994, according to the internet. I don't remember them as that great but perhaps if I tried them again I would change my mind. My memory is that I just preferred having a Bounty.

I'm the only one in my family who likes the little Bounties in the Celebrations tin. I get to eat them all. I didn't know there was a Coconut Boost,I wasn't a big chocolate eater back then. |

I fear you may, single-handedly mind, be the reason for the demise of every single one of these products. Your failure to notice their cessation suggests you weren't buy them. |

Those filthy bastards have replaced them with something chickeny. With no-one apart from me apparently bemoaning their loss at the time. |

I'm Sorry! I have actually been looking for those delicious Spicy Tomato, Crispy Bacon, Worcester Saucy packs of Wheat Crunchies for ages, I thought that Morrisons had just stopped stocking them
The coconut boosts the OP was talking about I thought they must have been a promotional limited edition that I had missed rather than something that disappeared 21 years ago! No wonder the shop owner thought he was a weirdo! |
