The highlight of my spring is tonight. I have heard no songs, except the UK one, which I quite like.
I don't watch the semis as I like the suprise of hearing them for the 1st time |

I watched second semifinal having skipped first one. There are a few good songs this year. My personal fav is Sweden with a sexy singer, great presentation and fantastic club track which sounds like the best of David Guetta.
Also great is the Australian entry which is taking part as a one off as a thank you for broadcasting the event for the past thirty years. Apparently people watch it over there and vote! If they win though the EBU has voted on hosting in Germany.
The British entry is fun but not a winner. Definitely better than previous years but we really need to send better singers and songs and actually out some effort in. Maybe we should do like some other European countries and send the winner of The Voice to the Eurovision - guaranteed great singer with live TV performance experience and likability and would also increase their exposure and lead to greater commercial success of the voice uk winners (which has been lacking so far) |

I don't watch the semis and save all my excitement for The Night!
Are we dressing up in national costume or past acts/past winners? Blokes with beards, choose your frock now.
It clashes with BGT though, which is annoying.
I've told my meet for this evening we can't meet until after Eurovision. |

I never do that. It's the sort of thing that is 'when it's on, Saturday night at home' viewing only. Like Eurovision. I just don't like the two main channels forcing me to choose.
