Was this Rooney's game plan all along ? - if so he risked pissing off all the fans, hos manager and most of the media !!

Probably more his agents doing that Rooney, c'mon does he strike you as the kind of bloke that can think of such a ploy, personally I think it would be more agent and media speaking than Rooney himself. speculation, paper selling ploys, media/fan frenzy not all uncommon in the world of celebs

its all about money nothing more nothing less.i will however be interested to see the reaction of the fans that slated rooney for wanting to leave the club and his reasons for wanting to leave.

did Fergy say that Man U had made an offer no other club could match?? of course Rooney will stay for the money - he is not a loyal club footballer, didnt he piss a load of people of by leaving Everton for Man U??

(i am not a footy fan so may have got this all arse about face )

This is excellent news! If Rooney's beef was that United lack ambition and he's now agreed a new 5-year deal then, reading between the lines, it means that United must have pland and cash available to venture back out into the transfer market come June next year.

Now shut the fuck up Wayne, put ya prick back in ya pt and get back to scoring on the fookin pitch.

"So the fat shrekalike scouse prossie shagger wants to leave......"

And just a day later you think it is excellent news he is staying?

Sir Alex is one smart cookie, should HE now decide to get rid of Rooney, MUFC will receive a huge transfare fee due to the 5 yr deal.

Another victory for Fergie, I tip my flat cap to the man.

Nooo lol.. I said elsewhere regarding a player who plays for your team and one who doesn't - if he'd left United he'd have been an ungly scouse shrekalike but now he's staying he's a top bloke. hehehe
