It could be that they dont want to bother you again. There are a lot of complaints on here about guys continuing to message after a rebuff.
I do it for that reason. |

Maybe they have seen the many threads from couples and females who say they block men after a rejection mail so they can't mail them again...so they have done the same thing.
Either way, is it really so bad? |

You don't want to meet him, but you are upset he blocked you?
I block people who I have said no to, and also those who say no to me, so we don't show on each others searches, and I don't want to bother them in the future.

If I send a message to a gorgeous couple like yourselves and get turned down then I wouldn't want to be classed as a pest and men do so I block.

Find this to a ridiculous post if it was make saying that about couple or single male the response on here would be lot worse.
Why would the chap feel need to continue contact you were if i get a message saying too far away I usually block so as not to in future send another message and risk aggro. |

Can't say we've ever been bothered by a block, even less so by someone we're never going to meet. At a guess, probably to eliminate you from the equation of a possible meet as there's no chance.

So they don't re-email you. Simple. We do it to people we aren't interested in and those we say no thanks to. Easier than going through the search and having people who have said no to you getting annoyed with another email. |

this is why site supporters and the private notes are a great asset for me
I usually put something in there to warn me or phone numbers etc
but also if i say no i also put the reason why im saying no
if the persist i block

We use it in the exact same way, when you see that little blue box then click to open you soon recollect. A very good tool. |

I think it would have been more standard for him to have had a hissy fit and sent an abusive message. 
I know people do get upset if I don't do this after rejection. |

the problem is, if im on myphone i can press delete all not delete all read occasionally we all do this |
