In ecuador i ate fish eyes whilst on my volunteering holiday this summer. Because when it was plated up i didnt want to leave anything on the plate as they was a local family who didnt have much.
Today i tried crocodile burgers for the first time which is like a mix of tuna and chicken. But also had springbok, buffalo, ostrich, frog legs and snails |

At Memphis zoo there is a challenge where everybody throws in a couple of dollars and whoever eats a handful of live maggots gets the lot.
Easiest $150 I ever made.
They tasted a bit nutty , the wriggling was a bit strange though. |

"Banana wrapped in bacon when I was in Scotland....highly recommended."
I always include a fried banana if I do a cooked breakfast. No idea where it came from but it was something my Dad always did when I was at home |

"What were snails like?
Don't think i've eaten anything weird myself."
I've had escargot in Nantes..just tasted of garlic..
I once ate deep fried bugs in Thailand to impress a beautiful lady from new Zealand, and these were big fuckers with legs and, all sorts of appendages you never want to eat,and I shouldn't have by the laughs of stall holder...not only was it crunchy, and disfuckingusting but I never got laid nor even a kiss! |

You have the advantage of not caring about food at all.
I've had crocodile, kangaroo, ostrich and grew up eating hassa (also known as cascadura), which is a very strange prehistoric looking fish.
The strangest thing was mushrooms earlier this year.

Frogs legs....in a casino in Sheffield of all places !
Texture identical to the tiny bits of meat you find between the two bones in chicken wings, taste slightly saltier, but actually very nice.
Also wilderbeest in Africa, zebra was on the menu, but a bit too similar to horse, so I drew the line!
Wilderbeest was very tasty , like a low fat steak....well the lions seem to enjoy it!! |

I've had ducks feet in Vietnam and boiled eggs in China where the egg was half formed into a chick (Mao Dan?)...
... but the worst ever was when I thought I was queueing for Fish and Chips outside of West Ham. Got to the front of the queue to discover nothing but Jellied Eels. Couldn't eat them |

Just where I need to be. |
I have eaten snails and frogs legs didn't have any issues, quite enjoyed them. Now, tongue, was awful, my friends showed me it prior to cooking and it didn't look much better after it was cooked. |
