It does not sound intimidating to me. It comes across as slightly over-confident perhaps but not intimidating. |

not so much intimidating... but criticised for having met too many people.... the fact that the majority were at clubs / socials cut no ice with them..... damned if you have no meets/veris..damned if you have too many  |

Nope. I can see why someone with no self confidence would find a confident profile intimidating. It is only a problem if that is the sort of person you want to attract.
And contrary to everyone else's experiences I think that most people do at least skim read profiles .....if you make them more than a shouty rant with a list of do's and don'ts. I get a lot of messages that start with "I know you aren't looking for. ..." |

Hope you told them not to use that line again as instantly they've put themselves on the back foot by thinking that!
I see nothing intimidating about your profile though I'd lose the bollocks paragraph about institutions using your details. |

How someone else perceives something, is their problem, not yours

I don't find it intimidating because I like confident men, but some women might be frightened of your headline and worry they could not keep up with a fit 'insatiable' man. Sound delightful to me haha! |

To the OP.......doesn't look timid sting at all. But would lose the bs at the end. The bit about using your pics....total waste of space (check site advice on this). Some people have said this bit puts them off. |

I'm odd.
I quite like intimidating/confident profiles.
It's a challenge and normally makes for good banter. 
What I do object to, are excessive lists and demanding profiles, that basically say "mail me and I'll kill you"... |

I could never find a profile that feels the need to include a pointless disclaimer in it to be at all intimidating.
You may as well post "if anyone uses my pics/text I'll tell my mum".
It would be as useful and effective.

What?? It's a great profile.. I hate the 'feel sorry for me' ones others have.
We get told our pix are intimidating all the time.. Women don't show up because of them... And say so. I hate it.. But won't change |

Really don't understand how people can be intimidated by words or pictures.
Nobody is better than anyone and people shouldn't think that anyone is better than them. If you message someone saying you're intimidated you're making yourself look like some meek, wimpy, hanging looking buzzard. Nobody intimidates me whether that's looks, body, mind or strength.
Nobody should feel intimidated by anyone, we all bleed and we all can be killed. |

No, it arises from a tiny insecurity that someone that you have met might not have been 100% confident that they would be as physically in shape as you.
I haven't looked at their profile but I'm sure that little bit of worry was unfounded and that you, as a gentleman, understand that most ladies have small imperfections.
With the exception of the last paragraph, your profile appears honest, is well written, and you have some very good photographs that back up what you have included in it.
For the record, I always read profiles and the person's interests. |

I don't get intimidated, just put off. 
It's a fine line between attracting the people want and putting off the people you don't want. Many profiles opt for the latter. The danger is that you're too successful in your efforts and then, by some, you're seen as intimidating.
It's not what you say, it's the way that you say it. |

I'm not sure intimidating is the right word. To me you come across from your posts and profile as strident and strong willed. That leads me to be less likely to enter into banter with you on the forum or make a throw a way remark to your posts. Does that mean I'm intimidated by you? Possibly!! Or am I just adjusting my behaviour according to the person I'm addressing?
To the OP: I wouldn't worry about it. If your profile reflects who you are it will attract the sort of people who like who you are. Why even give a second thought about those who don't like it for whatever reason; they're not for you anyway. |
