If it's been a long term thing then I think being mature and breaking it off nicely is the decent thing to do,just because its swinging it shouldn't mean that normal rules of caring about someones feelings don't count when you're telling someone you don't want to see them again

"what is the best way to do this, say bye and thanks, or just block the person and ignore them?"
If it's a relationship... I'd class blocking them and ignoring a tad harsh.
They deserve to know its ended. |

"I had the block n ignore! Hence the post! Lol. Just wondered if happened a lot on here"
It's a shame when people don't have the courage to say they don't want to see you any more after a relationship. If it was a one off then it wouldn't be so bad but when you have gotten to know each other well the decent thing would be to say thanks but it's run its course. |

This in a nutshell.. Blocking after a relationship be it swinging or not, is cowardly, the other party deserves more. Unless of course they've been a shit. |

I try to treat others how I would like to be treated but unfortunately not everyone subscribes to this.
It's not easy being on the receiving end by that's how it rolls sometimes.

Depends, how does you fab relationship work? Had there been a mutual understanding from the beginning? The best you can do is explain why and hope they understand and you go your own separate ways. If they can't except your decision then I'm afraid it's time for 'tough love'
Good luck |

Most people know the right way to do things, sadly some choose not to....usually for selfish reasons. |

"If my FB decided he didn't want to meet me any more, I would expect him to say so, in fact I know he would. I would be the same with him. "
I had also hoped that, but sadly not |

"Get real people
NSA means I don't have to really care emotionally about these people
Nor they me
So
Simply bye is adequate
I'm such a bitch lol "
Yeah but it's a regular swinging relationship you do end up caring about that person as a friend. It's just one you see naked often |

an explanation first, I'd have thought! that is common decency surely?
then bye and thanks, then if they still persist....block! |

If it was a regular thing and not someone I'd seen a couple of times and it had fizzled out. I'd like to just be told sorry I don't want to see you anymore. I'd do the same, no explanation needed just politeness.
