As razor blades for men, are one of the biggest rip offs going, i was wondering if there are any good own brand blades that are as good as the branded ones?. I read somewhere that some of the top end blades have a mark up of 4,750%, and cost as little as 5p to make per blade.

DON`T DO IT!!!!!!!

We realise its difficult for single guys on here, but don`t you think your overreacting a little?

Just stick it out, we`re sure things will be fine in the end.

i swear by Gillette Fusion

ok the expensive at around a tenner for 4 blades but you get what you pay for i think

since i have used them i have never had a shaving rash, even if i shave 3 or 4 days in a row

Here's a tip regarding razor blades:

If you tap them on a towel after use removing any water droplets and then wipe them to dry them thoroughly they will last 25% longer.

Saw this on a shaving forum as a response to someone else posting, "Fusion are crap!"

"I hope you're not suggesting the hi tech multiple blades produced by Gillette are in fact a big con. And that they dont spend millions on testing razor technology and using the finest tensile materials, and do in fact just try and make them look vaguely like space ships, manufacture them in China for sod all out of plastic and tin, and then flog them to us for a fortune, wondering how long it'll take before someone realises they are totally fucking inept shaving tools.

Thats not what you're suggesting right?"

Made me chuckle lol

A "shaving forum"??? Fucking hell, I've signed up to some strange forums (fora?) in my time, but a shaving forum........!!

Is there an arse-wiping forum so I can discuss the finger-through-paper experiences of Andrex versus Sainsbury's Budget Bumwipe?

Arse-wipe Forum? Maybe you should start one, you'd know all about it.

Well, y'know, I'm not one to brag, but I'm pretty good at it now, no Winnits around here. It's not too difficult, honest, persevere, and one day you'll look inside the pants you've just taken off, and they won't look like the starting grid at Brands Hatch. Best of luck, seriously, we all wish you every success.

You could always go for the grizzly adams look and dont shave, then you wont grumble about the price of razor blades!!! And, you'll be helping nature by having a nice warm place for a bird to nest

I keep my razor under a crystal pyramid that was blessed by a Hopaki shamen - never had to buy a new one in 17 years.
