Mac and Benefit make-up sold on eBay may contain cyanid.

Do you/would you buy these make-up products from eBay?

Iv only ever purchased a Lorel lipstick as they don't sell it anymore.

Sigh by cyanide do you mean a carbon triple bonded to a nitrogen but otherwise ineptly bonded off to a larger molecule by the 4th carbon bond and as such completely harmless to humans?

Cause there shit loads of cyanide compounds around you most of the time.

If it's actually got free cyanide molecules in it then that would be an issue but I can't see any logical reason why it would have them.

I used to work for a firm that used to make the raw material base that went into cosmetics - lot of toxic chemicals - I wouldn't touch make up (glad I'm a bloke)!! The same firm used to also make the base product for savlon - again some nasty stuff goes in there, though the stuff I'm the tubes is very much diluted!!

Strangely cyanide appears in a lot of products, including plastic baths!! It also appears naturally in geraniol!!

Don't worry, in small quantities it's relatively Ok!! But don't use it daily as it will age you!!

Ah the lipstick - tallow fat goes into lipstick along with di-methyl sulphate gas - lethal!! presumably it's been tested and applied in such small quantities it won't affect humans!!

Doesn't matter what cosmetics you wear, there's probably something nasty in their composition - just be thankful things have moved on from the times ladies applied lead and mercury compounds to their faces!!
