Need a basic data entry program that I can download from the web. It needs to be able to put just basic info into it like a reference, a destination, a price and a few other things .
Any ideas or recommendations would be great |

Also, data entry is rather boring, so I would suggest a small child willing to learn about how to use a spread sheet who you can persuade to do it for you in the name of progress. If they have an interest in karate, I have a fence they can paint this afternoon, in a similar vein.  |

Sorry should have been more clear its needs to be a program that saves companies profiles that I can then add basic data to. Excel doesn't do this |

sounds like you need a database app then.
build up a record of the company and add additional information.
I'll still stick with my recommendation |

Most "data entry " packages are just basic databases or spreadsheets with a pretty little template bit tagged for you to enter your data on.
If you have Microsoft office or works on your computer then use the spreadsheet packages on them.
Dependent on your version of office you may have Microsoft access which is a database program. They sometimes have some standard templates for common things so have a look there.
Otherwise, if you don't have the above, as the previous post said, look to download Libre Office. It's free, works on windows and does pretty much identical things.
Failing all that, if you think you need something customised and specific I can write something for you...for a fee...lol
