My answer is Frank Lampard as he only has 3 less assist but 84 more goals. i would also always trust Lampard to always score when he does get a chance in the box aswell as he seem to always be in the right place at the right time. Not to mention scoring over 20 goals in the league when he was at chelsea was a good accomplishment |

Frank Lampard is/was a fantastic player,
But for most of his career Gerrard could play in every outfield position and still be the best player on the pitch and influence the game,
Passing, Even
Scoring, Lampard
Tackling, Gerrard
Free kicks, Even
Positioning, Gerrard
Big Games, Gerrard

Gerrard has a presence about him and a never die attitude, if you want someone to lead you has the right stuff and one off the best footballers we have produced the man in red wins, will be a sad loss at anfield when he plays his last game today |

Not the best at playing together either. "
Jose wanted to buy Gerrard on a couple of occasions so he thought they could play together.
