Are you a betting kind of chap?
Look at the stats on FAB.
Circa 250,000 members credited to the site. Over 90% of which are single males (or those purporting to be single)
A further 4% are single women with the remainder being couples of varying gender make up.
Taking into account regional meeting requirements based on a modal distance requirement it seems the ratio of single ladies and couple is approximately 40 single males to a mixed cohort of couples and single ladies. The ratio becomes significantly higher when gender requirements are taken into account; that is profiles that are not seeking single males. So if you were to express the probability (of meeting said target group) as an arithmetical and geometrical number
progression the formula would be
s = ut + ½ at2
