We all know London has some of the more most expensive places live and breath but when it comes to going out for a night or going out for a simple drink.
What's the most you've been ripped off for a drink OR bite to eat? I'm not talking about swinger clubs but what should be normal every day prices but no, they've added the date to your bill and possibly ruined the night.
In most London clubs now you'll pay
£5 for a 330mml bottle of bear.
£2.50 Bottle of water
Redbull is £4.50-5.00 |

Seems cheap for a bottle of wild animal. Think of the dangers attached to catching the bear and bottling it.......

Most clubs/gigs we go to will be £4-5 for a can of cider or avlarge bottle of kopperberg, water is £2-3 and no idea about red bull. Water is expensive because in some clubs people will have chosen to bring other stimulants and won't drink alcohol. If we are in a bar I'd guess no more than a fiver a pint.
With local pubs other than 'spoons it's not that much cheaper. |

£2.50 for a small ice cream cone with a half sized Flake by the Tower of London. I was glad I only had one kid with me. Our van man only charges £1.20 and you get a big Flake, sprinkles and two sauces. The lady by the Science museum only charged £1.50 and gave him a free one when he dropped it. |

If you want expensive you should try 6' North in Aberdeen.
Extortionate, wanky, 'craft beer' bar.
It's so expensive they only sell half pints or 2/3's - in the region on of £4 - £5 for a half.
They have a drinks menu on the wall and no pumps have labels so you have to hope you're getting what you ask for.
Tossers, I say. Tossers. |
