Prostitution is illegal. Sex between consenting adults is not.

"Prostitution is illegal. Sex between consenting adults is not."

Indeed but in the same sense that is only that the transaction is sex for money. If it is sex for free then money for their time.... (Escort in another words)

I realise it is pretty awful a guy expecting sex when offering money, but I do find it strange the hatred some women seem to have when its offered... Maybe they don't beleive it is genuine

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

What is the discussion about money?

We can't talk about being asked for money or offering money for sexual favours on this site: that's fine and not what the site is about.

Only the foolish and the brave talk about what people might earn. Over the years I have settled on the fact that if anyone dare earn more than £26k or suggest that anyone is paid more than this they will get shouted down by someone or other.

Conversely, if anyone needs help from the state lets not talk about their monetary needs. They're all feckless scroungers, don't you know?

The cost of make-up has also proved contentious in the past. As has what we pay for fish and chips and a pint.

The only threads I have ever seen where money is involved that have not been contentious about the money are the pound shops ones where it's clear that not everything is £1.

"Prostitution is illegal. Sex between consenting adults is not."

When did they make prostitution illegal?

Don't you think some women would be insulted to be treated like a prostitute ?

Prostitution isn't illegal in the UK. Common misconception. Pimping and brothels are illegal though, which probably causes the confusion.

I'm fairly certain prostitution is against this site's policy though. Which is entirely fair =)

Haha I completely agree, mindless mass psychology... There has almost been a new form of "fab" etiquette...

I don't think a woman should be insulted to be given the opportunity.... Walking down the street ? Yes.... On a swingers site being offered something for something they are clearly here giving for free which they can and have every right to turn down? I'm not going to lose sleep over those insulted no

Solicitation is illegal, but I'm pretty sure it's legal to be a prostitute (assuming that the difference between a prostitite and an escort is that prostitites get paid for sex and escorts get paid for time - and may choose to have sex in that time), it's just that escorting appears much more legitimate. Offering sex (or extras, if you're selling time), for money is solicitation.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm fairly sure that's right

O o O oo

I am guessing you mean offering or asking for money for sex? I would have thought it was obvious to be honest...this is a swinging site and not a paid sex site
