Well after yrs of not being happy with my weight and stuff in February I finally decided enough is enough.

I joined slimming world with my relatives and signed up for a 10k run in June.

Now I have always enjoyed running and done regular bit the ate unhealthy meaning I maintained my weight.

When I started I was 16st10lbs in 11 weeks I've lost 2st3lbs making me 14st7lbs.

My running is now amazing doing 2-6 miles a day and in good speeds.

Another reason outside my own health an fitness to start this was a Msg saying I couldn't get meets cos I was fat so this also motivated me as I would hope try get some meets from fab as recently it's been like a desert with no fun lmao

excellent work OP - I know it takes real determination and dedication to do that so well done!

The challenge is to keep it up when you hit the wall - but that's a brilliant start!

I already hit wall few weeks ago put half pound on so hit me hard but following week lost 5lbs so all back to normal

Update my first 10k is on sunday an getting excited.

My weight loss is now 2st10.5lbs for first time in 15yrs am below 14st.

I posted some recent be pics and I see the change. Although hard as lots of tops still big an till weight settles no point buying more.

Well done, I've lost almost the same amount since January and it's a long hard slog isn't it! Well done especially on the running, I've cracked the diet but can never manage the exercise.

Good luck for the 10k.
