It started with a promise, to always be there.
He said he would come, he promised all that time ago.
I guess he doesn't remember, it doesn't matter now anyway.
It's getting darker now, I'll just close my eyes.
I'm drifting away from it all, but what's that?
He's holding my hand and he says, I never break a promise.
I left this world with a smile on my face and a tear in my eye.
I hope we see each other in the next one.

....social. Where she said I was "lovely, but not her type" Then we met at a party and I was her "wine slut" rewarded by some very naughty fun in hot tub.
3 years later we are close friends and regularly spend weekends together.....so never say never! |
