My eldest child: Meh,whatever makes you happy.
Second eldest child: What if you meet an axe murderer! You might not come home tomorrow! My son in law even came out to talk to someone who picked me up one evening to tell him to look after me. Children can be so embarrassing  |

I live openly so people that I am on a site, meet people and go to clubs and parties. They know broadly what I do but not who I do. 
They are most often surprised when I say that I had a great night at a club and didn't have sex with anyone. The reason they find this surprising is they go to ordinary night clubs and end up picking up someone for a one night stand.
The married friends always ask about the couples involved in the scene.
I have had a handful of comments that I am witty, intelligent and attractive enough so I shouldn't "need" to do this and that it must be because I don't respect myself enough. Those that were close to me during my 14 years of celibacy encourage me to keep this side of my life.

 this. Most of my vanilla friends that have met my fab friends have been surprised how 'normal' they are though. So as much as they say they are ok with it, their naivety about the scene and what actually goes on amuses me. It is still seen as seedy within society and will always have a stigma associated with it |
