I like a wink on the rare occasions I get them.
Some people are very clear though - wink and you're blocked! So always read the profile first
Some people WILL think it's lazy and will expect you to spend half an hour crafting a 100% original piece of prose each and every time you message someone - and most likely you'll STILL be blocked

By the time I realise ive been wink'ed a couple of days have passed, replying to it can be a bit too late. I prefer sending a message , articulate myself and come across as a silver tongued cavalier haha. Besides, winking is for grandads lol |

I wink to test the waters, see if my profile is of interest. I get winked at a lot and that's how I interpret it, a way of testing the waters.
I look and, if I'm interested I wink back or message. If not I just ignore it. Some guys are serial winners and they just get blocked. |

I check my winks.
I take them as showing interest.
If I'm interested back I'll return the favour. And hope they send initial message.
On the odd occasion I will send a message upon receipt of a wink.
It's a good way of showing interest without the bs of trying to think of something to write in a message. |

I like to receive winks, and i repond to any winks i receive with a message.
I don't send them though if a profile interests me enough to initiate contact I'll message i think the few minutes of my time is a worthwhile investment.  |

I look now and then and will wink back if they catch my eye.
Call me shallow but if it's a wink from someone without any pictures and a one line profile then I just leave it there. |

I generally only wink if there's a forum thread about winking those you wanna fuck. I hate when i go to wink someone and they haven't deleted their winks in the last 30 days because generally i still wanna fuck them (or again)! |

I occasionally send a wink, if I really really like the look of someone and there's no objection to winks in their profile - don't think I've ever had a reply though. If they can be bothered to read my profile, then I hope they'll get why I sent a wink instead of a message.

We get winks and respond even if it no thanks which it often is as they are of no interest, smokers mostly.
We send them provided their is not a please do not on the profile, and it is a polite way we feel of saying hi we like what we have read and might like to know more.
The main problem with the site is people just do not read through the profiles.

I often send a wink just to make the person aware that I'm interested and like what I see. Some people say it's lazy but I prefer this approach as opposed to clogging up their mailbox with an unwanted message. |
