I saw it and it was an ok film.
Of course many people on here always want more hardcore, porn type films. It is a love story with a little twist that is all, and it is an entertaining film. |

Even taking away that is was meant to be a s&m romance (becuse its not) and just judging its on the actual film.
It was mediocre at its best. Story wasn't too far from most other chic flicks and the acting was wooden.

never read the books..film was passable at best..very wooden acting..couldnt really see the influence of what is supposed to be a radical artist as director.. |

It was reputed as being 'wife porn' with bdsm. I came out of the cinema disappointed as I was hoping to learn a new trick or two, there was very little in the film i haven't already tried before. |

Watched it thinking isn't this film about bdsm? Ok it was the first film so it might get better but all the hype it created when the books came out i was hoping the world would be shocked at the film with all the naughty bdsm and maybe start a revolution but in all honesty I never herd a thing. It was a film about bdsm I've seen more on channel 4. |
