Okey dokes, I've been chatting away to a lovely lady on here and thrilling her with my charm, wit, and plagiarism of Vic & Bob, Swiss Toni and Tolstoy. So far so good, X (we'll refer to her as X) explained the lack of photos due to her job, and questioned why I would want to meet her when I didn't know what she looked like, my reply that I found her funny silly and irreverent went down a storm and obviously scored brownie points, so upon giving her my whatsapp I was surprised that the next message I received was 'shame it could have been fun', no further messages and I've been blocked. Okay so just another timewaster?...my whatsapp pick is of the kids, one of their teachers is called Miss X ZZZZZZ, she fits the age and locality, we (or so I thought) were moving things along swimmingly until she maybe saw the kids on my whatsapp. So will it be cringe central at home time tomorrow or am I over thinking things?. |

Delete this in case it's her.
The picture of the kids may have put off another Ms X without it being the teacher. I wouldn't be happy about seeing the children. Or, she didn't like what you send on the app thingy. Or, you're overthinking.

Maybe with the kids pubs she thought you were attached? As others have said could be a whole raft of reasons why she blocked you - one of which could be she is indeed teacher xxxxx |

If I was a teacher I would block everyone in the local vicinity of the school I worked in, that's the way my brain works.
I'm guessing tho there must have been something she's seen that either she's not keen on or she recognises from your whatssap.

Because it exposes them to an adult world, albeit not directly. It also says that if you won't protect your child's identity would you be showing other people information received/pictures.

You should not have strangers accessing pics of your kids. You don't have to be a teacher to know that. |

I would cover tracks and agree about when contacting people via other apps. Be discrete and careful as you never know who they can be on the other end. Although it's personal choice as we are all adults. |

Why would you put the kids pictures there, you are talking on the internet via whatsapp.
Pics or not you could be talking to anyone and not just a teacher, or maybe the fact you put them there put her off.

Electronic pictures can be used in lots of ways. Unless you are 100% certain you know who you are talking to online you are exposing them to their pictures appearing elsewhere or them being identified.

Because I use whatssap for my non fab life I generally use Kik first and then progress to whatssap when I 'know' the person better. |

We Actually met our Primary Age Kids Teacher at a Swingers Party.. She Lived 30 miles away from the School and thought she would be safe.. !!
Was a bit awkward when she said that our kid was a really good kid when she was sat with just her undies on.. !!
We chatted for a while and agreed not to share our meeting with anyone who might know who she is and we parted our ways..
The Next Parents Evening was one for saying nothing but with red faces all round..

A single guy who cannot accommodate, and then sends us a WhatsApp with pics of his kids on?
We would steer well clear.
However, it could be the next door neighbour, one of your kids' friends' mothers, one of your mates' partners, one of your mates' sisters, the barmaid where you drink, the girl in the coffee shop, someone where you work, an ex partner, an existing partner, or anyone you come into any kind of contact with.
The possibilities are endless, and everyone you see now you'll be wondering if...
Or it could be someone who didn't like you sending a pic of your kids to someone you want to have sex with. |

There is this worrying implied 'trust' that people tell the truth on-line. Partly because the lines between the virtual and physical worlds are so blurred these days.
People forget that 5ft4 petite 'Schoolteacher Mindy' on-line could be a 6ft3 sweaty, beardy, bald guy who like 'Barely Legal Teen' amateur photography in the real world. |

That's exactly what he said if most had read the OP properly.
She's obviously open up a whatsapp chat, clicked on his avatar pic and seen the three of them.
She may have recognised him/them or just not liked the fact that they were visible.
Whatever the reason - iMO she needs to grow a pair and be honest as to why not just block and bugger off. |

Did ya kids get really good marks. Lol. One teacher not wanting to upset you. I think that if you meet someone at a club no matter who they are it is cool as long as people have that attitude that what goes on in the club stays in the club (unless you choose to take it outside the club). Funny when you see someone thinking just what happened and all is quiet. I had an "encounter" with a work collegue.... It was one night that she said she never wanted to talk about again lol... Funny as I left that company years ago yet still keep in touch. I think the friendship only exists while I do not talk about "that night" lol. |

I don't see the harm in having as his avatar. His life doesn't revolve around fab (well I hope not lol) so why should he adjust everything to fit in right with this site. Also he may have forgot what his pic was as I often do |

As someone who works in a school I would be very wary if I thought there was a chance that I was chatting on fab to a local parent. So it's possible it was your kid's teacher. Or maybe she just got cold feet.

No not missing the point at all i get what ur all saying but I don't think it's any different to someone seeing him on face book where his profile pic may have his kids in. Anyone can see ur pics on most social media things so what difference does having his kids in his avatar make? If it puts the other women off then so what cos there's plenty of others that won't be put off by it my fb settings are family only. Not potential sex partners"

The thing with aot of phone apps is they link to your Facebook.
If you have a family picture as your profile pic on FB then it transfers to the apps.
Some people may not be aware of this or may just forget.
So it is possible he never chose to use that picture, it just came up as the default. |

Of course he can have any avatar he wants but when he is sending that out to strangers (not friends and family) he is exposing his children to strangers. Some of those strangers, like me, would be worried about receiving a picture that contained children and for that reason alone would not meet someone.

Kids should not be anywhere there is a private life.
I would be shocked if i see it, as i am a stranger, i would also look at it as using them to reel to gain sex ( not with them) i wonder what their mother would think of it.

I have several different message apps including confide which destroys the message as it is read. None of them have a face pic. My Facebook is set to private and none of the pics can be seen by the public. I have warned people on here that their fb pages are public, purely by the profile pics. Anyone that thinks it is ok to have pictures available of their children on messaging apps that they use to contact people on dating/contact/swinging/sex sites mystifies me. |

It's fine if he was just talking to mates on it. It's the fact he was using it to chat to strangers off the internet. It's inappropriate to have pics of kids in that situation, just as it is inappropriate to have pics of kids on here. |

Okay so just another timewaster?...my whatsapp pick is of the kids, one of their teachers is called Miss X ZZZZZZ, she fits the age and locality, we (or so I thought) were moving things along swimmingly until she maybe saw the kids on my whatsapp. So will it be cringe central at home time tomorrow or am I over thinking things?."
Logical thinking time,.. If youve nof seen pictures or spoken to her psrsonally how do you know it wS a lady? Its often said to other guys after being blocked... Single guy pretending.
If it was a lady my earlier comment stands loads of reasons for being blocked.

I haven't sent a picture of anything to anyone, I gave someone my phone number nothing more, odious comments aside in an effort to appease the outraged moral majority (omm) I have removed the tasteless avatar of 6 eyes peeping over the top of a two foot wide watermelon and replaced it with one consisting of a pepper mill hanging out my arse while my dick is encased in a bear trap with a turkey carcass perched on the tip (though goodness knows what looks I'll receive at the next PTA meeting).
N.B. 2 burkas are on order and are expected with 2-5 days. |
