Manchester for me today. I'm running for my friend who died aged 32 from sudden adult death syndrome on 28th December last year. He was a father and husband and was my hero.
Never done 10k before but I'd do 1000k if it helped raise awareness and honoured my friend.

a lovely day. lovely people and some absolute heroes running/walking/wheelchairing it round namely for other people.

"I finished in 52:22 which was good as I'm not in very good shape at all. My mates dragged me round really as they're all much fitter than I am. "

Have to get my head in the game, as I find the hardest part is the mental aspect. Knowing that it's a battle against your self in the closing miles
