just seen the trailer for the new movie.....sorry but the original is too cult for a remake.

going to see it, so still time to be surprised.

I thought this one is supposed to be more of a continuation rather then a remake. (No way the original could be made any better anyway.)

sadly yes, sometime before last week i believe.

though his films live on.

Original is dangerous and the ROI can't be easily forecasted, where remakes of classics can. If you're looking for originality, try watching foreign movies and you'll often find a collection of originals that where made into Hollywood blockbusters. -Mr.
