Sadly, I had to go the Full Monty and have a quadruple by-pass but it was very clear not long after the op that I was going to do far more than I had before the op was done. Bearing in mind that if a stent is adequate for the job then that`s what they`ll use as it`s less invasive an op and results should be instant! After I had my by-pass I was sent to hospital for re-hab classes and it was a doddle and I even managed the more intensive Heart Club sessions afterwards! We used to do two 2 minute sessions of on the spot running in our warm-ups!
I would say don`t worry one little bit about the op and look forward to getting a life again! |

2 stents fitted 3 years ago, and felt fantastic immediately! Wide awake during op and no probs at all since. Tablets daily now but that's not rocket science |
