Anyone can answer... But i am only seeking single men so i guess its aimed at them.(not all may i add)
Ok... You wink somebody, they dont wink back..
You message them, they dont message you back and delete your message.
You send them a friends invite.. They dont accept.
You send yet another message. Then another.
So my question is... At what point do you get the picture they are not interested?????
Im sure from what ive read on other topics that you get a site message something about them not replying before so are you sure you want to mail them again? Or words to that effect.
Do we really have to block everyone? |

They do get that site message, yes. And you do have to block some guys also, but be aware they can make new profiles to get round the block (report them), or the blocklist can break and people come off it. I used to block everyone i didn't fancy, am more selective now and only block pests, which the above in your post would be considered one. |

If I send a message and it gets deleted without a reply I can guess from that the answer is no thank you.
As for winks and friends requests I don't send winks as no one seems to like them and friends requests are sent after it has been discussed in text.
I think that clears me of any wrong doing lol |

Well I don't wink.
But if I message and it gets deleted I take that as an answer.
It doesn't bother me. I'd much rather have that than it get read and not replied to. .. because then I haven't got a clue what that means.
I normally leave it a week or two and if they still haven't responded then they just weren't interested in me.
I have had messages read and not replied to for several days before then all of a sudden I'll get a reply.
Sometimes not. |

The making a new profile has certainly been proven recently too. I had someone blocked for pestering after me saying a polite no thanks and hes back!!! |

Mixed signals on both sides. Once I didn't hear anything from a girl for six weeks. Then I got a message out of nowhere and we met a week later.

You can report them. Don't know if anything happens but at least the site then knows the guy is a problem. |

Report seems a bit harsh when she had the tools to stop further contact. |

I've had one guy i met make 5 profiles to contact me after i told him i wasn't interested and blocked him. Once he even had no pics and i ended up chatting to him not realising who it was until he sent me pics. I don't think it's harsh at all, it's creepy for guys to make new profile to contact you when you've expressed you don't want to. |

Only an idiot or someone with way too much free time would sit there typing 'no thanks' to every single message that's of no interest!
I don't even have time to read all mine, let alone reply! |

Is it not too hard to guess that a deleted message means no , why on earth would they delete the message otherwise ?

How do you equate a no thanks message to being polite ?
Why is rejection better in written form ? |

Tbh i send a message if someone interests me. If I don't have a reply in 48 hours I just assume they aren't interested. Sometimes I get a reply saying no thanks but if my message gets deleted I just assume I'm not their type.
A woman has the choice of a million people messaging them and I'm realistic I'm not the home handsome, athletic or have the biggest dick but I let my personality do the work lol |

I don't know how I'd feel about a response 6 weeks later lol.
I don't know what your dialogue was with her and what reason she gave you for 6 weeks to reply.
It would feel to me like she had a list. . Or she was stuck for a shag.
If it was me and there was no indication of why she'd messaged after 6 weeks all of a sudden, I'd be inclined to delete it.
But again, I don't know what your conversation was.

Sometimes you're damned if you do, as well as don't. I block some, including pests who create discomfort. I reply to some, encouraging their attention to anyone but me and I'm particularly responsive where a lot of effort has been invested. It can still backfire.
That wink I've responded to, where the gallery of cock pics possibly were a taste of good things to come - but, hell were they not!
I understand the blocking and its value, saving repetition ad nauseam. When the profile pics not changed, 3 years further on, it's easy to recall that they weren't for you. Other times it's not so easy.
Id quite like a set of terms and conditions, unique to my profile, that users would accept, before being allowed to message me. The public throwing of rotten garbage would be scheduled for every Friday, in the Birmingham markets area, if they contravened any condition. Id hate it to become a freak show but fear that it may. Any 2 headed users etc would be pickled and then displayed at social gatherings. |

ps i generally reply to ALL messages (of any effort) but its so many, i need to cut out all the deadwood so im free to message the ones WHO READ MY PROFILE ,and then, PUT THE EFFORT IN...
Theres alot of guys in competition with each other for attention-surely its the ones making the best effort should merit our time?
Most girls get alot of messages here..ALOT.. |
