as a full fledged anime nut i have watched my fair share of hentai, can understand how people consider wanking to an animated video compared to live action stuff but in some ways hentai has advantages over conventional porn
as said in other comments the body shapes, big curved boobs and sexual positions that animators can create is attractive compared to seeing it in a live action way that could be considered impossible to do
although wanking to hentai might be considered strange People masturbate to whatever stimulates their minds to some hentai does the trick to others conventional porn is the way to go but the way i see it if you consider hentai to be ridiculous cause it isnt real give it a go, cause you never know until you try it out
