Anniversary Friday and my dad was conceived on VE Day anyone else similar ??
Anyone else need to have sex Friday as a tribute to their grandparents??

I shall reflect in silence on the awful and senseless waste of life and resources. The bravery, tragedy and plight of those caught up in the conflict. Thank my lucky stars that we have not, thus far at least, had to endure it's like in our lifetimes.

i spent a large part of today with my grandma reflecting back on her life and learning about it all.. her dad was killed in WW2 and laid to rest at Tripoli so we went online and found his grave. Bittersweet but was good to look back at some of her childhood memories. |
