so im just wondering what are your thoughts on plus size ladies. i myself am one i was at recent meet and greet and got a good response i couldnt believe it. i have always been very concoius about my body am i just being paronoide.

We don't let the size of a person, male or female define our thoughts of them.

Physical attributes are only one facet of a person and we prefer to take the whole package into consideration.

Having been a BBW (size 26) and having lost it - I do find people treat me very differently.

I was not happy being that size, hence making changes.

I found some men treated me as a novelty as a bigger lady - and had the moped comments too, about being fun to ride til your mates find out. But had the other end of the scale and one fella who adored it and didn't think I was big enough.

Now I am treated much better, and seen as an equal.

But that may well just be my experience, and also the fact that as I lost weight, I have gained a bit more confidence, and am less likely to put up with shit from anyone.

Yes, thats me in the picture. Really no magic formula... drink more water, eat more clean food (if you can't pronounce the chemicals on the label, think about whether you want to eat it) and exercise more.

I lost 18 stone over 5 years. Simple small steps. Eat smaller portions, do more exercise, drink more water. I also use body brushing in the shower to help with skin tone (although I am genetically lucky too - my dad is mid 60s and fairly un-wrinkled) and moisturise lots. Find an exercise you adore... I've just recently passed as a gym instructor and am training to be a bodybalance teacher too.

I don't think its shallow to fancy one physical type more than another, in fact I think it's human nature.

To think one physical type is inherently better than another isn't right, but it's not wrong to have particular personal tastes.

The thing is, I don't actually see how it is bbw central. There are many slim women on this site too lol, there are a range of beautiful women of all different shapes and sizes

Like any body shape, certain people can carry it better than others. You may get 2 size 20 woman, one could look sexy as hell, the other not so.

personality and fun matters more to me than body size ive met bbw and slim body types and enjoyed there company. Every body type is sexy to me and women shouldnt feel forced to conform to one body type. Unless you need to lose weight for health ressons you should be happy how you are.

The thing is, I don't actually see how it is bbw central. There are many slim women on this site too lol, there are a range of beautiful women of all different shapes and sizes

I think it's fairly reflective of the general population. So there probably are more overweight women than size 8s, but you're right that there's a range!

As usual, if someone mentions slim on a BBW thread people take it personally and lash out. I am not slim by any means but I don't take offence at someone saying there are a lot of larger women on the site, as there is.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion without being abused for it....whether you like that opinion or not so please don't do it when getting your point across.

I don't like the term "plus-size". It's a misleading term that has been used too much on women who have a healthy size.

That being said, I prefer ladies with extra padding. More cushion for the pushin', as my ex used to say.

I do sympathise myself i was 20st when i was a teen and was bullied for it too , not good. After a bad stomach upset i lost most of it and not put it back on since, my bums still a bit chubby but others accept me for who i am. I am much more aelf confident than i was back then.

Everyone's different here I am a 12/ 14 still feel big even if I was a size 8 I bet I would .. It's up to him ..what he likes. What gets my goat on this site lovely men saying how lovely bigger woman are but if they are over weight most here not into them as say two fat don't go together now that's a cop out in my eyes ... I think it should be same here for both sexes but it's not here.. Men are not look at in the same way .

There are websites devoted to all types of girls-there aren't many for any type of men, not just big guys.

well let's hope plus size men have the same luck as you here .. Over my time here seen some men made to feel bad because of size and that's not cocks size. I hope they get same respect as you woman and people can see past size as a lot do with woman so why not them I find ...

Everyone is going to have a preference, some prefer blondes, some like alternative chicks with tattoos fan piercings, I like a little chunk in my hunk and a sucker for a soft full manly beard.

I personally don't feel comfortable or able to fully relax with a man whose athletic and ripped (to me, I don't see how a man so dedicated to his body can see beauty in someone who so obviously isn't) and tend not to pursue those people.

That said, I'm happy, my weight and my look and my reasons behind my size are mine and mine alone. As long I'm comfortable in my own skin then that's all that matters to me!

I was always told the sexiest thing a woman can wear is confidence!

I had curvy but changed it to large because my waist is currently bigger than it should be. I get at least an email a day telling me I've chosen the wrong category, but given I'm 5'10, a size 18, obese with big feet, large felt appropriate. When the spare tyre situation improves I might be curvy again.

I've given up worrying about what I am. At my fattest I didn't consider myself a BBW since I am shortish so not big vertically and beauty is a judgement I don't think I should make for myself describing myself to strangers. Ample seems a polite way of describing rotund (or at least it was in the novels I read growing up) and I do go in and out so didn't think that fitted my shape either. So I put curvy. I'm the same shape I was 3 dress sizes ago, just in a smaller ratio. And anyone can just look at my photos and make their own mind up until there's a PPW category (podgy pretty - I would be happy with that as a description).

I don't understand all this 'people tell me I've selected the wrong category so I changed it' business.
