I love Bangkok....heady crazy but amazing culture.
The temples are beautiful but arrange price with tuk tuk drivers before hand!
khao San road is famous for touristy bars and student travelers.
There is a restaurant called the Mango Tree (you'll have to google it as can't remember road) but food is amazing.
The Thai people are so friendly and will bend over backwards to help, enjoy!
I'm very jealous x |

"I've been..its humid, hot, big, busy and dirty but one amazing city..although I could only handle three days there.
The food is amazing..even from the street vendors."
We want to eat wierd stuff from the street vendors, four days in total in Bangkok, two at the start and two before we fly off somewhere else... |

Have a meal in one of the Sky bars and Koh San Road is definatly the place to party. Get a massage every day they are great!
The best food is usually that sold by the street traders so dont be put off by the basic look of them. Paht thai is great off the street traders. As someone else has said watch the Tuk Tuk drivers, get a price first and make sure if you use a Taxi you get a price first or ask for the meter to be put on. Haggle and haggle with everyone. a great place but can get a bit full on. The floating market and weekend markets are good but dont go on a Tuk Tuk tour as all they do is take to to shops to try sell you clothes. You have to relax and get into the mind set that people will be in your face on a night and trying to sell you things. It is a great place in small doses. Have fun |

If you want bars and food go to kho san road, if you want to look at bar girls and lady boys, soi cowboy or nana plaza, in the daytime the temples are chilled and beautiful the boats on the river is also chilled. If you want a night club try insomnia, free taxi's as the club pays to get customers in but will be full of bar girls or route 66 |

"After 11 o'clock at night, Bangkok, Sukhumvit odd-side from Soi 1 to Soi 19.
"Odd side" is the busy side - you'll see!
"
I used to live at Soi 31, Sukhumvit Road as a child xx |
