it was there, right in front of me, all along

A thought hit me right between the eyes today (not literally, I might add).

Single women (not necessarily on this site) are luckier than they think.

I was faced with the fact today that more men seek to be your knight in shining armour when you're looked upon as a single damsel in distress than if you're one in a relationship.

I have lost count of the 'favours' that have been bestowed on me since being single (non-sexual), such that I would never have received had I been in a relationship.

single is defo the way to stay!

i've had free or cheap taxis, free driving lessons, free plumber, free gardening, someone to come and tear down a ceiling, twice, for free....and today, numerous clearences to the skips for free, then today, when i got a bill in higher than i expected i told my builder i couldnt pay him this month...to which he answered, "don't worry about it, don't ever worry about money...if you have any emergencies, call me and i'll fix them, you can pay me when you can afford it".

now...none of these men have had so much as a kiss of me, nor asked. so i must assume it's to do with that male need to feel like a knight

Was the credit crunch going on when you were single?

Nowadays tradesmen will try to find work by any means.
