As a strong activist campaigning for Sharia Law in the UK I'm sure I will have the full support of my Fab buddies. I am currently in the process of setting up a March. Maybe for the 18th August. Please let me know those of you who wish to attend! Also packed lunch will be provided (Halal of course) and maybe we could all change our profile pics on the 18th maybe a pic with a burka would be suitible. Thank you

In the UK we pride ourselves on choice, freedom of speech and human rights, for this reason, I propose a simple solution for those who want Sharia law in the UK.

Those who want it will have their rights acknowledged and be be tried and sentenced in accordance with Sharia whenever they break the law, those who want to stick to our UK system will be tried by our laws as normal.

Let me correct you, you fight for a state where people from diverse range of backgrounds can express there freedoms of the land which happens to have Christian values embedded within its heritage.

Middle Eastern mess? Yes there are fanatics, but they're a product of limited social cohesion caused by ignorance from all communities in the UK. Stereotypes and labelling has fuelled the brainwashes into recruiting young people into a false religious ideology that they must follow. The best way we can combat this is to breakdown these misconceptions and interact between communities to help end this diversity.

i watch the threads on here with interest..enjoy political banter...but no, we are unable to support sharia law here..our laws are very old here..and , luckily i live in country where those laws have been in place, and are open to change as the change in our society take place

So, your ideal solution to dealing with the fanatical is to allow them to integrate into our community, polluting the minds of more young people, name me countries that are under sharia law that are not a complete mess, that do not require aid, that aren't killing and slaughtering their own people over whimsical offences, these are definitely not the sorts of people I would like to have integrated into my community!

We are in a christian country, if you do not have a faith or religion when born in this country and do not state so you are automatically stated as C of E, which is Christian is it not, does that not show that we are primarily Christian based

For gay men to be punished under sharia law there needs to be penetration seen by at least 2 eye witnesses. Basically it means if you are gay, keep intimacy in your private space.

Muslim countries with a democratic state, ie Malaysia and Pakistan have large gay & trans communities.

Look at Germany, apart from Dresden, most of Germany is well populated with people from all corners of the globe. Tolerance has been learnt the hard way there theoigh the masacte of many innocent people 70 odd years ago. Those lessons have been embedded into the social dynamic of the population and so there is an acceptance of other faiths and ideologies into there society. No matter what race, religion, colour or social status, everyone treats everyone else as an equal which makes it a well integrated society.

Let's say you were a young Muslim teenager, with friends from all other backgrounds. If someone tried to tell you you had to harm these people or that they were nothing to you and your faith you'd happily stick 2 fingers at them. Now, the same scenario but you'd been bullied for being Muslim, and avoided by all people from other ethnicities/races/religions, you'd think, this guys got a point, and would easily accept the radicalisation. Social cohesion a is key to destroying the prey of the brainwashes!

Oddly, Pakistan seems very tolerant when it comes to transvetites...

During a visit (10 years ago), I'd see men dressed and made up walking around publically quite regularly.

The arbitration act 1996 allows almost any body to act as a dispute resolution service if both parties agree to be bound by its decision. This means, in civil matters such as marriage and divorce, or tort, if both parties agree to be bound by the rulings of a Sharia court then that ruling will be legally binding on both parties.

Laws of this country are not as preached in a bible or book of any other religion but set by government at the will of the population. Finally gaining Royal accent. Hence then an offence is always tried as Crown v an individual.

As the op suggest that he is British and his home is Birmingham then if this is the case then he was born into the laws of this land. Although of a different religion, influenced by parents, then by definition as British he aligns himself to the Crown for he's freedom and protection.

Should he wish to oppose the rule of the Queen by challenging British law then he could be seen as a treasonable act.

If he is not a British born person then coming to this country he came knowing and willing to accept the law of this land. If then he doesn't like it as it is then he has the freedom to leave. That is true democracy

Nobody has either faith or religion when they're born, due to the lack of being able to think past eating, breathing, shitting and crying for the first year or so. Stating a preference is a bit tricky too when you can't talk- so you're basically saying that Chrisitanity is a sort of dictatorship that assumes you're a member unless you're indoctrinated into one of the other gangs at birth, by your parents, without choice?

Yet another reason i'm glad i chose Atheism as soon as i realised what utter pap religion was (about 7 IIRC, didn't go down too well at school when i refused to join in with the god bothering in assembly)
