Hello Chums , from a sunny North Wales. Though the leaden grey clouds, that seem to be rolling in give the Pooch and I the impression that we may get a little damp on our wanders this evening.
We have a jolly wander through the countryside, up hills and through woodlands. It’s a pleasure to see that mother nature has woken up and is carpeting the hill and glades with the most colourful and fragrant wild flowers.
On our travels last night the Pooch and I discussed our childhoods and the toys and games that kept us so amused and seem to fill our days. Sadly for most “grown-ups “we have disguarded theses firm childhood favourites.
I always loved to fly kites, there is something mesmerising and liberating to see that triangle of colour dancing ton it string defying gravity and trying to break loose to the heavens. I have recently purchased a few kites that keep me amused on our walks .
The pooches pup-hood toy of choice would have to be a tossup between his globe of the world and brightly coloured abacus .
For Me my kites
So in the sprit of Peter Pan and not growing up which Childhood toy was your favourite and would you consider getting another to while away the hours again. Or has your selection of toys turned to something more adult lol.
Recommend a Toy ,, have fun

Also had a pedal tractor and trailer that I went everywhere on - my Mum despaired of me and my 'tom boy' ways |

I had a scooter with huge wheels and a kick stand. Hours of fun. Until my sister took the rubber protector things off the kick stand and I ripped my ankles to shreds by catching them on the metal.
Then I had a folding scooter.
Then all my friends had electric scooters so I got fed up of losing scooter races. |

I always wanted the Evil Kinevil wind up bike, oh and the Mousetrap game. I had to make do with a kite, a soap box go kart I found in a hedgerow (until the buckled wheel embedded itself in my shin), Kerplunk and a massive amount of imagination.
But above all, the one toy I wanted was Twister, and even though I'm a growed up now, I still wanna play twister!!!! |

We weren't poor but not wealthy either. I got hand-me-downs from my brother. My favourites were a Meccano set, a box of magnets, a compass and a model aircraft
When I was older, I got an Atari video game and a mountain bike, even though the landscape was flatter than a Golf course |

The outdoors was the best fun I could have Grandma would didn't like when were in the house for too long. Me and my BMX 85 used to go around the block for hours. When inside I did like my Barbie, my Nenucos and phoneys. But than one day I found She-Ra and X-Men toys that some through away and my life changed. Till today super-heroes make me happy. I watch every single series and movie of all super-heroes, more than my kids |
