in the night garden

If you do yellow in the kitchen you don't need to wipe the walls as you cant see the grease building up from the cooker.

Although be careful, I find leaving more than half an inch of grease on the walls leads to cultures starting to form.

yuck!! I hope this is a joke

Have a look on Dulux site for some inspiration, or Farrow & Ball they have some lovely colours, to save cost, you can always pick a colour and have B&Q mix it for you

little house on the praire

Why not go for a non discript colour like light beige and then do everywhere the same colour will save wasting half empty cans of paint. Then when you put your pictures and bits and bobs about people will notice them (says she with a purple front room lol)

White or magnolia. Its the cheapest paint and like others have said you can change later but in the mean time it is fresh and clean.

I like to use white and then put up pics and use soft/hard deco to change the look if required. Magnolia does give a lovely sunny feel tho.

I do all magnolia etc and just do one accent wall.

cheaper to do as well as places often will sell quite a few rolls of paper (end of line) and you dont have to pay alot.

The co-op near me do some great deals. and can often deliver
