What's your grump of the day.... ME... Just watched an advert for &&&&&&&&& not going to give them the advert but this advert is for a skin cream that makes your face clean and radient.
Do the advertisers think people are thick.
They show a before and after photo.
The first photo shows a close up of a female in a black and white photo, bad lighting on the photo, bad angle slick greased back hair plain background.....
Then they say, after using our product you could look like this....
They then show a happy person, with makeup on, great lighting, just been the the hair dressers, head tilted like they are having a cover shot photo taken, they are in the garden or outside in a nice environment. Big smile etc....
Do they really think that using skin cream will put you in more colourful clothes, and smile.
Lol just now they showed the same picture. A woman sad (Before) and then her with a big grin on her face (after). Lol.
Yes of course someone looks better with a smile on their face.
What a load of......
I hate fake adverts.

Years ago I remembered an advert for a well known washing power. It was fantastic, nothing could touch it.... It got rid of every stain..... THEN.... they brought out the new improved one and then all of a sudden they started reporting that "even the old {Brand Name Here) could not remove this stain. Where was this stain before the new one came out....
--------------------
Steam cleaners. Always shown on new dirt with what looks like brand new tiles just made to look messy.... Then it (obvioulsy) cleans sooooo easy....
There is my grump for the day lol....
Triggered by an advert near you. LOL |

Oh I don't care about them so much as they're obvious bullshit. I hate the ones of people pretending to be having a dinner and being 'real' like those 'surprised' Lidl ads.
Also dentist adverts are shit.
I'm looking forward to interactive TV when we get paid for watching ads and there will be a black button to add an advert to a 'never show me this shit again' list. Then they'll up their games.

The one that gets on my nerves is the one where they take away the mirrors while they try some new fangled creme for a month then they are all pleasantly surprised when they look better than they thought afterwards
Of course they are going to think that, even without the cream!! |

I can't recall what brand butter/spread was being advertised, but when they pulled back the foil there was a sunset over a field scene.
When I was in a position to do my own shopping I bought it. To say I was bitterly disappointed to see just plain spread would be an understatement! |

"One advert I love (not TV) is from a company called Sofa King.
Their Motto Is "Our Prices Are Sofa King Low". Google it. There is even a picture.
Priceless. Love it."

This one really annoys me too. And like shit haven't they looked in a mirror for a month. Have they removed all mirrors in the toilets at their work? And from the walls of shops, restaurants? Unless they've been locked in the house for a month it's absolute bollocks. |
