If they come up as within a mile that feels a little to close for comfort for me
In an ideal world I would love to meet someone who lives down the road and accommodates that would be idea for me, and I've had a few offers from local guys who accommodate but when its put on a plate like that my sensible side takes over
I wouldn't want to be bumping into guys in the street who I fuck off here while out with my kids |

I have noticed in this post and a couple of other where the phrase ' within a mile ' , I can only find a search that says within 5 miles , where's the mile thing ?

Am ok with distance and close i meet a couple from next street we respect each other has own life to lead as it should be and meet up at mutually convenient times. |

On the mobile site there's a see who's near feature it can show if they're within half a mile |

Thanks all am thinking for me some distance is maybe better,as I live in a small place wouldn't want to end up in local paper lol

I'm happy to meet locally or travel some distance, but would draw the line at travelling more than about 50 miles each way...unless we've chatted for ages...over 100 miles would be a long way to go to be let down...I know it happens, as its happened to me previously...lesson learned.
Safety MUST always come first for any lady, and I'd always be happy to meet somewhere public to ensure she feels comfortable with meeting me. |

I'm not that bothered about bumping into meets, i speak to them if i'm on my own and ignore them if i'm with my kids. Has worked out ok for me.
One guy i kept bumping into everywhere though, was a bit weird. |

I live in a city so I don't think it matters if they're nearby, because so are about 50,000 other people. I've never met anyone who lives particularly close but that's not deliberate. |

when I first started on here I got chatting to a guy, but found after the initial conversation, I was struggling to keep it going so said no thankyou, he seemed fine about it but got a message that night saying Im within half a mile of you, give me the house number, will be easier face to face, wont need to talk, looked out the window and there he was sat in his car a few houses up... logged off quick!!!    |
