Some guys seem to think this site is like a Woolie's pick 'n' mix. They just choose the women they want and away they go! It's not like that and if you think it is then you'll get very frustrated.

I think it can get easier/more difficult depending on where you live. Rural lincolnshire is very sparsely populated so there is always a trade off on how far you are willing to travel |

I must fall into the 'usual suspects' category then.
I am lucky enough to have regular meets, some weekly, some monthly, some longer.
The only problem with the site is the people on it. Usually single males who join a swinging site expecting a fuckfest. When they realise its not and they have to work at, as in 'real life' they become disillusioned. Then they start to come on the forums and complain about it, doing themselves no favours.
Perhaps the only way to improve the site is to put a cap an the amount of single males joining. But where would you stop?
That is the beauty of fab! It is a well run, free site which works for me. And thousands of others! If something stops being fun and you don't enjoy it then stop doing it. That goes for anything in life. |

It's only a woman's world on this site if you let it be. If you want to meet people and have fun then it'll happen. Just because women have a lot of options doesn't mean that men just have to have sex with anyone that says yes or try to shag every woman that replies to a message.
The more effort you put into your profile and the way you interact with people on here the more successful you become. When I first started I made lots of rookie mistakes and got nowhere. But thanks to some advice in the forums and chat rooms I realised my _iew of swinging wasn't right and it was a whole world I never realised existed. Not in my case. I have a life outside of Fab. Sometimes the guys or girls I fancy meeting aren't free when I am and vice versa so I don't get meets whenever I want. Probably about 50% of the time at a rough guess. What I don't do is blame the site or a particular demographic for any failure to meet, just my own logistical flexibility. |

. I cannot see any faults with the site . The forums are great and lots of interesting topics are discussed . The non sexual topics in the forums tend to attract the more interesting members and lots put great effort into posting comments . If it is meets you are after , you have to do an objective re_iew of your profile and ask yourself one question. Is the profile interesting enough to attract someones attention, is it backed up by good pictures , and what reasons would someone select you in prefererence to all the other members who are available .? Fab provides the tools with which you can market yourself , you have to use your skills to ensure that you market yourself correctly . |

Fab is what it is, any old weirdo can join. So there are bound to be lots of fakes etc.
However, it was set up as swingers site not a hook-up site. So anyone not getting quick-shag meets is on the wrong site anyway.

I never have a problem meeting people on here even though I'm in the dreaded 50+ category, it depends on how you are with the ladies and i find the more cheeky i am and the more i make them laugh the better the reactions leading to possible meets.

We find very little wrong with the site and the few things that are wrong for us would most likely suit others.
We find a few people on the site annoying and a few meets disappointing, but that is more because of the way we use the site rather than the people themselves.
We have a busy life and do not have time for constant messages; as a result we find multiple short questions annoying. Why can’t the other person ask what they want to know at the one time instead of as a series of twenty short questions.
By the same token if we asked the other person more questions we would probably out the few disappointments we have had.
We have only been here 8 months, though it seems longer so can’t compare it with what it used to be like, but all in all it works for us

I've been on the site for seven years and it worked for me. The last meet I had in November 2013 moved in in July 2014 and is making me breakfast as I type.
That said, whilst only a very small percentage of Fab uses the forums the tone has changed somewhat. The cliquey nasty bickering has been replaced with whiny, sense of entitlement threads, not just from single men! |

The site works well for me...i talk to nice people, meet one or two lovely people, avoid not nice people, chat on here and generally avoid all the negative stuff...
