We both enjoy photography, landscapes, wildlife, in particular the big cats, and portraits. I am a Canon user (DSLR, superzoom and compact depending on situation) whilst my lady loves her Fujica.
Been known to freeze our nuts off at times just waiting for the perfect shot that never seems to happen lol.

Love photography, though very much the enthusiastic amateur. Often have a day out with just me and my camera seeing what pops up to capture. One day I'll learn to do it properly! |

I've got quite a bit of photography kit now - started with a Canon 600D, then sold that to get a 60D, and then I rent a 5D when I need something more pro, which is rarely. Don't do it professionally, though I have done a couple of weddings for friends, and done headshots for plenty of people - mostly corporate stuff for my company. Would love to get into glamour photography but alas I haven't found any models willing to dress up all sexy for me |

We both love photography, but wouldn't claim to be photographers. Canon dslrs, shoot in raw, process in Lightroom. Have photoshop but never use it. Prefer to shoot in natural light, and like the erotic and sensuous rather than graphic. |

there are the professionals who earn a living and those who do it for a hobby. No one is snobby or proclaims to be better than anyone else its mint. learnt so much about styles and settings.

I was using an eos 10d until recently - it's older than our kids but still took great photos. You can pick them up for about £50. I only upgraded because I do a lot of sports stuff and it could get a bit slow buffering when shooting lots.
But as a cheap way of beginning with a DSLR the old models are worth a look.

I would say the opposite, a budget DSLR of today is far superior to the Pro models of yesteryear |

Sadly, Fab doesn't allow me to post many of my images as they consider them 'too rude'; I tend think of them as erotic and not pornographic.
I still have every camera that I have ever purchased and prefer to work with black and white, rather than colour.
I love female curves, architecture, landscapes, moonscapes, wildlife and storms.
My inspirations; Bob Carlos Clarke, Helmut Newton and Bob Guccione.
I collect Bob Carlos Clarke and Helmut Newton photographs.
Commercial work for Paradise Electro Stimulations.
Daytime travel companion; Nikon 1 J2 and Nikon lens adaptor.
Workhorse; Nikon D2X.

Photography fan here and graphic designer / video editor. Have a Nikon D3200 with triggers, reflectors, basic softbox and lighting. Do enjoy taking and editing shots. Especially like portrait photography and experimenting with different techniques.

Another photographer here mainly shoot commercial sport for clothing and equipment manufactures. Currently shooting with Canon 1DX's, Hasselblad, and 5D mk2's for my backup. However, with all the best tools in the world, creating that great image still requires a great eye.
I've recently started filming and creating my own personal fine art collection too. I just love creating. -Mr. |

I surely miss the silver halide days, if it wasn't for the lack of space, I'd be printing my own personal work. I still have my old darkroom cloths from the late 90's that still smell of fixer. -Mr. |

Yes, currently studying for an advanced diploma in photography. It's just a hobby with me, I'd never consider myself good enough to do it even semi pro.
I have an EOS 450 with the kit lens, a nifty fifty and a 200mm. Plus a Sony A5100 for taking on the bike everyday quick shots. |

"And what budget DSLR do you suggest for around £100 or less?"
My hubby got a canon eos 350d.
He got 18-75 mm and 75-300 mm lens and a few bits. We was told it was a bargain at £75 |

I was hired to write part of one of them advanced diploma things, I wonder if you've studied what I wrote. :D
Mind you, I didn't like to tell the company that hired me that I'd taught myself and never had a lesson in my life... |

"I love it, but wish I could afford some lenses for my DSLR. I don't use it much these days because I'm lacking in equipment. "
I use mostly old SLR ones - some I've bought for less than £5 plus an adapter for about £10. It means you have to use manual mode and focus manually etc. but I now prefer to do that anyway.
There are some forums that suggest which 'retro lens' to look out for.

Ex full-time photographer, now semi-pro; mainly shooting motorsport and gigs.
Don't get too hung up on gear, it's what you shoot/how you shoot it, not what you shoot it with!
However, I've got a couple of 5D MkII's, an old 50D that I use at festivals when I want a bit more reach and a few L Series lenses...plus a Sigma 85mm f1.4 that I love like one of my children. |

Love my photography. Fixed 50mm is a great lens. I tend to use 70-300mm more than anything when out and about. But like most people I do wish I had more money buy more lenses |
