So been toying with the idea of trying out the technical preview, has anyone else been using it ?
Whats your feedback ? I know i can install it on a separate partition but just wanted to get some feedback from some of you tech boys ( and girls lol )
So come on how good or bad is it ?? |

Am using 8.1 and personally i like it, much faster and more intuitive.
Is it at the stage yet where the updates wont wipe everything ( data , files etc ) or do you still need to back everything up before an update ? |

No idea, not played with it in a bit but I don't store any data on that partition anyway. Everything of mine is on a nas so it's more like a thin client than anything. |

ive got a free upgrade to it on an 8.1 tablet ive got so im just gonna install it on that at first before i run it on my main machine
will make the switch eventually though. always have |

Macbook schmackbook, been there done that lol
Decided i need a windows based laptop so have an absolute beast lol !
Had a go on win 10 briefly on another machine and looks great so will download the technical preview today.
Have a back up drive so wont lose anything.
The release date isnt far of so would imgaine its fairly stable by now ? |

Its personal choice some people like Mac some like windows, personally i like Mac but it doesnt suit my needs therefore i use windows ( even though i could dual boot both if i wanted lol ) |

True that, I like Windows and I don't like Mac...however, I do dislike being sneered at by Mac owners, when under the bonnet they're running identical machines (that they paid through the nose for ) |

Who's doing the sneering? We all have a preference what we use. I use Windows 7 and Android devices also - each have their specific uses. |
