If someone has blocked you, do you counter block

Or are you not that petty?

Personally I block those I'm not interested in or wish to meet

Come on how many of you counter block as it feels good?

I don't counter block because I'm being petty or it feels good, I counter block so if they ever decide to remove it there will still never be any contact. Blocks are made for a reason not to play games.

I have only got a couple of people blocked. I rarely get any hassle and I'm not interested in meeting anyone so I'd have everyone blocked if that's how I did things

Sometimes yes if a person is playing games by doing it so their game can't continue.

I do find it petty that people block by association though...you get blocked because you know someone they don't like, but then I wouldn't want to meet a person like that anyway so they have done me a huge favour

Yes always counter block because I have known some people that unblock to have a quick look then reblock

I use the block button occasionally but then that's for those who don't read the profile. and those who watch webcams when I have no interest in them.

We aren't really aware of who's blocked us (bet it's loads

) so no. If I was feeling really fed up I might do some tactical counter blocking

I counter blocked once because of an ex.

Then I realised I was been as petty as she was, as I had nothing to hide (unlike her) i deactivated the block

The only people I block are the ones who are not interested in me, so its a easy way of not pestering them.

Shouldn't the site automatically block both parties if one has blocked the other?

The thing with being blocked is,if you really wanted to keep your eye on people who have blocked you you can open another profile and spy on them in ninja mode.

If I realise that someone had blocked me, then I will block back. It serves as a reminder not to interact with them as they obviously have some issue with me.

I very rarely block anyone myself.

I have never counter blocked as I would just be as petty as them and most are just ignorant anyway. So what the point

You cant search them but if you have a message from them or can see them in your block list you can go to their profile in order to block but can't actually _iew their details and text. Alternatively you can go to your block list and enter their username to block too

This - pretty much!! I only block people who are horrid - and very few people are horrid to me, fortunately!

I normally don't know or really care if I have been blocked, so it isn't an issue. I rarely block anyone. The only time I have "counter blocked" was when the person who blocked me kept sending rude and abusive messages.

We have stacks of people on our block list. It saves reading their profiles again if we have read it once before and decided they were not people who would want to meet us or who we would want to meet.

Sometimes you only know that from reading the profile in detail, and a block saves time.

I block ones i am not interested in. Struggle to answer messages as it is. Dont want to be looking through profiles to find its someone that cant take a polite no thanks.

Usually I only counter block if someone has send me a snidey message then blocked before I can reply. Just to prevent them from doing it again.,

The only time I counter block is if i notice someone local has blocked me without me ever contacting them and only then on the off chance that they've blocked me because they recognise me.

Probably being paranoid but there's many reasons why they may have blocked me of which that is just one.

Nope!

Don't block them actually but prefer to make a note and sometimes they unblock and begin messaging again. Those conversations can be amusing as we're pretty sure either they think you've forgotten the initial convo or lack of one hence the block or they've forgotten they blocked, lol.
