Hello! If I buy an off-peak train ticket in to London, does anybody know what times that allows me to travel in?

I'm sure somebody wise on here will know!

Depends on where you are travelling from, usually departures after 0930 but sometimes its the arrival time that matters.

Check with the train company website you're travelling on to make sure.

Thank you! Anyone know about evening? I have a meeting this afternoon, and want to catch the train back but it might be 4ish, and the journey takes an hour and a half...

I think peak only refers to the morning......

Peak doesn't just refer to morning, it's usually after 9:30-10am then anything after 3:30pm (up until 6:30pm) is back in peak. I was stung wth this lately and had to stump up a ridiculous amount of money to travel at 4pm.

This is based on travel from Manchester. Other places could be different.

I have put my travel times in the online website, and it's only offering off-peak tickets, but I don't want to get stung with a fine...
