You do have a point. It will be due to maturity and being more comfortable with himself.
The feelings may always have been there but repressed/ denied. People do change with age.
You're not saying it happens to all men. But I would agree that the same happens for some women- they start to realise bi-curious feelings.

A small percentage of guys may decide to experiment with a bit of bisexual activity at some point. They DON'T reach a certain age to do this either.
