It's looking like there are going to be at least 10,000 deaths as a result of the earthquake. Nepalese experts have long feared that weak buildings would result in massive fatalities in the event of a major earthquake, 2/3 of the buildings don't meet the country's seismic code standards.
Lets hope that global lessons will be learned from this tragedy |
