Is it worth shelling out the extra money for?

I'm thinking about seeing the Avengers movie in 3D.

I end up feeling a bit woozy. I prefer just watching HD.

I like them at the cinema, not so much at home.

If you've never seen a 3D movie at a cinema it's worth a few extra quid for the experience and I imagine they've done about as well as they can do with the 3D effects for this movie. If you've seen one before and decided it gives you headaches and detracts from the story then obviously this one's not going to suddenly remedy that.

Some people like 3D, others are less impressed. It's worth a few extra quid to form an opinion. Even if you're not a fan of the effect it probably won't be so bad that you can't just enjoy the film.

If you usually wear glasses to watch films make sure you put the 3d glasses over them rather than replacing them, they should be designed to accommodate most specs.

I think it's only really worth it for animated films or those with a lot of CGI.

Went to see avengers last night in standard. 3d would have been sensory overload a very busy film.
