The sky is blue and I so wish I was off to the beach today.
My favourite beaches in this country are at Bigbury on Sea in Devon and The Gower.
One of my favourites overseas is Myrtos beach in Kefalonia.
I'd like to try a new one in the UK this year. Which is your favourite ? |

Fistral beach in Newquay holds fond memories for me. Kids in their wet suits body surfing etc, me sat under a brolly in the rain watching. Brrr! Funny, how that summer (torrential rain for 2 weeks) is the one we all remember.
I want to go to Cephalonia (it's on my bucket list as my mother was born there) but it would be on my own and I just haven't had the nerve to book yet. |

Calgary Bay on the Isle of Skye.
beautiful white sands in a perfect crescent bay, backed by gentle dunes, a small stream, and a quiet ground for camping |

It's a beautiful Island and you'd be ok on your own. I always felt very safe there and the history of the Island is fascinating. I've been twice and would definitely return. |

"Treen Beach at Porthcurno in Cornwall. There are 3 separate beeches and the most secluded one is also a nudist beach. Also the Minack Theatre is set in the rocks nearby "
Personally our favourite beach in the country and you can easily feel as though you're abroad on a hot summers day, truly stunning beaches and worth googling. We also like Bossiney beach near Tintagel, you have to wait fir the tide to go out but when it does you're predented with a clean untouched beach, a very nice beach indeed and bonus is you can pick some fresh mussels too. |

"Bamburgh in Northumberland. I love it there. "
Such a beautiful beach, especially along from the golf course. If only we had some consistent weather, I've been when it was 20 degrees plus a few times!!
In Tenerife, just outside Costa Adeje towards La Caleta walk over the headlands - a fantastic golden sandy beach called Hermanus! A nudist beach, some locals even live in the beach huts and caves! Well worth a visit!
The sun really can get us all so horny!

But Tulum beach in Mexico is hard to be beaten. White sands, turquoise sea, Mayan ruins overlooking the tropical beach. Absolutely stunning. |

Fistral. Sat on the beach bar terrace listening to some chill out tunes, surrounded by tanned friendly folks after a day surfing and watching the sun go down is pretty much about as perfect as it gets. Happy memories |

The best place I've been fortunate to lay a towel down on has gotta be the Whitsundays South Molle Island in Australia"
I'm hoping to get to the Whitsundays one day. They do look stunning. Heron Island has beautiful beaches and is very unspoilt. I'd love to go back if I can stomach the Katamaran trip to it again. |

UK: Porth Town in Cornwall. Try the Dirty Chips at the Blue Bar for lunch. Awesome!( pulled pork over hand cut chips with cheese and jalapeños )
France: Nudist beach near Brem-sur-Mer on the Vendee coast.
Greek islands: Corfu. mile long nudist beach in San Stefanos north west of the island.
Thassos: Alyki. Not nudist but has to be one of the best small beaches in the world!
Spain: Agua Blava. Beautiful small bay
Need to book a holiday now!!!! |

Sardinia has some fabulous beaches too.
I also have fond memories of beaches on Guernsey and Jersey, most of which I can't remember the name except St Brelades Bay on Jersey. |

My early experiences of the beach weren't great. My sister got stung by a jellyfish that affected my willingness to go in the sea. Secondly I thought sandwiches were called that because of the beach |

Aw jellyfish sting isn't nice. But a picnic with sand is all part of it and wasps chasing you down the beach!
Once I'd watched Jaws - I didn't go in the sea for a while! |

good choice, Porthcurno is gorgeous! Bedruthan Sands on the North Cornwall Coast is spectacular particularly when the tide is out and the waves are crashing in to the golden sandy beach.
Cape Tribulation in Tropical North Queensland takes some beating though, where the rainforest meets the Great Barrier Reef |

Preferred Makrinisos beach tbh less than a quarter of a mile away, quieter, prettier and a little bay there also. As for the best Beach we've been to it's difficult to beat Negril beach, Jamaica. Truly stunning! |

We have had much time to explore uk beaches from a naturist or swingers scene.
We however discovered playa de mar in Barcelona and this was a nudist beach but it's too city centre to be isolated enough for playing in the sand dunes. |
