Did you know that 'Countdown' was the very first programme aired on Channel 4. Remember racing home from school to watch a new channel start. Very sad of me now I think of it but at the time when we had only 3 channels it was a big thing. |

Sasha and I "tune in" everyday to see the lovely Rachael and what she is wearing each day, if you google her there are lots of pics and a lot of "You Tube" videos of previous shows and her best outfits.

i remember rushing home to see the new channel, how times have changed, they even used to switch off at night remember that |

Haven't a clue. What was on next? Had to go and do a paper round straight after it. It was probably the news which at my age at the time was of no interest.
I remember loads of kids itching for hometime just to get in front of the box. I do know it started at 4.30pm. Why is it I can remember something like that but can't remember what I did yesterday!  |
