A few months ago i was talking to someone i was going to meet and the comment came to me that
" i was a well know person on the forums and old sckool member"
thing is i have only been on fab 8 years this month and being honest im not that well known, i just have opinions and pretty gobby and a social butterfly
do anyone else get this kind of things and it may put a dampner on a meet etc?

Honestly, if someone said that to me about someone, it wouldn't stop me meeting them. In fact, it would make me think they were likely be a fun and interesting person to get to know.

I I see, I inferred (from your OP) that this was said prior to meeting - as if it was said to them by someone else as advice (or some sort of coded warning!!)
