Funny how even that word gets translated to how the user wishes.
At work - we got bought chocolates, biscuits etc on a regular basis for a thnka you.
Most of the time it will go to the assistant who is being thanked and they will take the wine, chocs, biccies whatever home.
Well the other day, we had already gotten a BOX of biccies upstairs to SHARE in the staff room, chocolates, and a NEW box of chocolates that had been given to ME, that i took upstairs.
THEN another box of biccies and a box of choccies got bought in, so i said - hide the chocs til the ones upstaris get eaten, otherwise the pigs will eat all the good ones, but take the biccies up.
Well, one of the assistants caught us and said thats not team building (forgetting ALL the ones she has taken home with her nameon it) and had the hump.
We were not hiding it from HER specifically, but - when there are too many boxes up the stairs - the bosses take the full ones.
THEN, what THEY do - is store them up in the office, and at xmas they get little freezer bags and dish em out to all the staff!!!!
I am sorry - but i think MY way of sharing by stashing - was a much fairer way - by makng sure the others were reaten and the bosses didnt take it - or am i wrong???
Cos i made sure that the box of SHORTBREADS that DID have my name on came home - and i even broadscasted the fact that i WASNT sharing THOSE!!! LOL
((We did also get o box of shorties to share amongst everyone else too tho)) |

If they look for them they can't possibly work out which are the chocolates I have hidden and which are the chocolates that are hiding the chocolates......  "
Teeheeeeee - love it - would just have to eat ALL the chocolates then x |
