Apparently travelodge have posted record profits. I wonder why and whether us naughty people will be getting loyalty cards

Not surprised as they're updating most, some of them were so so tired and in desperate need of some TLC. We actually stopped using them but been invited to a few recently and now with the refurb they're just fine.

Travelodge aren't always that cheap and I often stay at 4 star like holiday inn for less - though often for the non pre-booked room rates.

We stay at holiday inns too or any hotel in the IHG chain. They do locality points which last forever.
