My favourite time of the year april/may thou Of course we all rely on the weather, being a bird watcher its a wonderful time as migrant birds return
here to make territorys and breed, from the second week of april to the first or Second week of may are very special times to me blue tits, great tits all the tits..  either nesting or sitting
on eggs along with the woodpeckers and Most of our resident birds mostly all Over by the end of may with a trickle Of warblers breeding into june and a few other birds a bit later sometimes Later still, love the fresh foliage on The oak trees now and the blackthorn In flower for me this Is england I got One of those special days last Saturday when out, it lifts my soul and always has done but blink and it Will be gone especially if the weather Changes.. heard only today that the Met office said that last winter was the driest for 90 years. |
