When we meet someone and if we get on really well with them, with a view of perhaps having further meets etc, how comfortable do you feel about revealing things about yourself, ie; what kind of job you do, where you live, how many children you have etc etc.
I have always been a fairly trusting person and have met couples, through various other swinging websites who have become friends to us and not just swinging buddies etc. These people I have added onto my Facebook etc, along with my family and my long term friends.
Unfortunately they have friends on Facebook which are from the same swinging website and as I show up on their friends list, these people potentially have knowledge of my real name, which Im really not happy with. From a trust perspective it could cause problems so Im now having to delete anyone Ive met through the swinging world from my Facebook account.
Are you always very careful or like me do you sometimes let security slip a little |

I don't like telling anyone anything. I hate those so called conversations that run like interviews because people have sod all else to talk about.
Christ I want sex not a job ! |

We don't reveal anything other than an odd snippet, ie maybe how many kids we have but no names etc.....what type of job he is on but not who he works for.
We don't ask any questions either.
It works well for us as although we are friendly obviously with repeat meets while having the meets, it is still NSA sex with virtual strangers. |

On a first meet i dont reveal much but there is one thing i do have to tell them which is a medical matter, apart from that the more i know someone the more comes out. Hell ive known one guy three years and only got round to asking him what he did for a living the other week lol |

What you see is what you get with us really - although we do not say much about our jobs and families, just enough for people to form an opinion if they like us or not.
It is a swing sight after all, no less and no more. In agreement with Rugby's post |

Hardly use Facebook and it is definitely not linked to my swinging life!
As for revealing myself, I tend to be very open and honest. However, I do keep certain things private, but not a lot though! |

With my regular meets I know a lot about them, I know what everyone does, some I know where they work, office number, shifts, when they're out the country, childrens names etc. Some I don't even know their surnames but we've been meeting for over two years!
In three years boundaries have not been crossed. I bump into one of my playmates in Sainsbury's: you'd never know we know each other!
The playmates I know well are those I spend weekends with in their homes. One playmate picked me up from Chorley where my dad was dying, and took me to his home in Wilmslow. I had the run of his house while he was at work: a really nice man indeed.
Thing is: I share very little about myself! |

We have our own facebook profiles for friends and family, and a joint one for swinging, but now we are also considering a joint one for those friends we have made in the lifestyle who we stay in touch with on a "social" level lol! |

Depends on how we get along! We are lucky enough to have friends made in the scene that we are also mates with outside of swinging now. As for not acknowledging people when we bump into them whilst in Vanilla Land, why not? If you choose your playmates wisely, there is no problem.
We have some lovely friends who live About 2 hours away from us who we know quite a bit about and they about us. Other friends from the scene came to our daughters wedding so we had mates to keep us company.
However, we also know people we have met socially who have asked questions and we haven’t felt comfortable enough to answer. Those are the ones we don’t meet to play!
